#1 was of course a special event for me. The Humble Rodeo BBQ was my first Competition. I had less than a week to prepare for it and while I found the event guests to be very unpleasant I had a great time. I was hooked!!
#3 The Texas Paralyzed Vets Cookoff was the cookoff that really set the hook for me. many of my friends were there and it was a cookers cook. Quiet, fun but at the same time everyone was there to cook the best they could. No distractions or parties at this one. Just lots of fun.
